JR HIGH TEAM: 2 great games pitched by kay and great defense in both games by Octavia.
Game 1 win 7-4
Meg, nicole, jaidyn, Hailey, Maggie with doubles. Hailey with an in the park home run
Game 2 win 10-0
Ella, Nicole, and Katerina with triples. Kat,Hailey,Ella,Nicole,Maggie with Doubles. Hailey with another in the park homerun
That brings us to 6-2. We defeated the undefeated fort cherry
JV TEAM:
Game 1- Win 12-6
kat 3k’s, no walks, 16 hits. Tia hit a HR and Caroline an inside the park HR. 7 runs scored in 4th.
Game 2- win 7-6
tessa 3k’s, no walks, 14 hits, 6 runs. Hailey and Kat for big tag out at home. Savannah 3/3. Hannah game tying 3 run HR in 5th.
VARSITY TEAM:
10/7 Games:
Varsity moves to 6-6 after a 2-6 start.First game was sloppy but Lexi Costanza walked it off in the bottom of the 7th after a triple by Ella Sheets.Hanna with another homer run in the game8-7 win.The second game much better Hanna with another jack and Ella kept up her work at the plate with few more hits.Ally Magliocco with a absolute laser to left center.Lexi Costanza with a couple nice plays In left field.Tessa Bursick pitched 2 gems again.19-5 win.
10/11 Games:
Tessa pitched 2 games again allowing only 3 runs in each.No walks and one solid hit.First game 17-3 Hailey Robinson with a triple scoring 2 runs.Hanna with a bases clearing triple.Trinity with a double.Game 2 Bri Fugh broke the game open in the 5th with a bomb to left center with a triple scoring 3.Hailey Robinson walked it of with a single in the 5th to make the mercy rule.Note Haileys father coaches for Ellwood City.He took over as first base coach for me for her last at bat in the regular season.She is graduating and it was a moment I’m so glad I was part of.Ive known her since she was 5years old!!!
